What is the Durable Skills Pilot Program?
The National School Board Association (“NSBA”) and ProjectSet invites middle and high school leaders to join a pilot program to promote Durable Skills in their students. This free, six-month program provides:
Students with personalized curriculum of on-demand digital tutorials, projects and tools – based on their career preferences – to build and demonstrate their durable skills
School educators and leaders with data and evidence of the skills impact of their students and programs.

Who can be a co-ordinator?
Anyone in the faculty or staff who is able to manage the process.

What are the co-ordinators tasks and workload?
Help select or nominate students to participate in the pilot program (we recommend each school to nominate at least 10 students).
Track engagement of students in an exclusive digital dashboard every week (~10 mins per week)
Support students who may need some help of guidance (~15 mins per week)
Coordinate communication between program team and your students (~15 mins per week)
Offer periodic feedback on the program and the tools (~15 mins per week)
Sign off on projects proposed by local employers for your students (~30 mins)
Support other faculty members to offer the platform to their students (~15 mins per week).
Overall, we anticipate a workload of less than 2 hours per week, on average.

Why do we ask preferred dates?
We will examine the case to allow each school to select their preferred time window to curate multiple participating cohorts for the program.
